Original Item: Only One Available. Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known as Vladimir Lenin, was a Russian lawyer, revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia, and later the Soviet Union, became a one-party socialist state governed by the Communist Party. Ideologically a Marxist, his development of the ideology is known as Leninism.

While most miniature statues are sculpted after much larger, full-sized ones, we cannot find this one. There are many statues across the former Soviet States that may have served as an inspiration for this example, though this is one of his “signature looks”. This 10 ½” bronze sculpted statue is of Lenin wearing his wool overcoat and Ushanka winter hat. The base has the name БАЛТАЯН (Baltayan) and a date of 1970.
